Proper maintenance for your virgin hair
Follow these hair care instructions to maintain
longevity, healthiness and natural gloss of hair
Co-Wash hair before install
(recommended but optional)
Weekly Maintenance
(Shampoo and Condition)
Daily Maintenance
To co-wash hair, fill basin/sink with lukewarm water.
Add a generous amount of conditioner to water.
Make sure conditioner is distributed evenly in water.
Add hair to water while it is still bundled and let soak for 5 minutes.
Rinse hair thoroughly with cold water and let air dry
Shampoo at least once a week.
Try to avoid shampoo with sulfates and alcohol or no higher than pH 7.
Do not massage shampoo vigorously in hair.
Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Apply conditioner and comb through with wide tooth comb starting at ends up to scalp.
Rinse hair thoroughly and let air dry
Use minimal styling products to avoid build-up.
For a wavy and curly "natural" look, put water in a spray bottle and distribute it evenly throughout hair.
For a "wet" look, add conditioner to water spray bottle and scrunch up hair gently to reform curl.
Before going to bed, braid your hair into one or two loose braids at night.
